REMARKS: "I was hoping to incorporate elements of both classic ray guns and contemporary blasters but when I was done it ended up just looking like something out of star wars ;)

MATERIALS: Using found objects a 1940's electric sander, tiki torch holder, jello mold and the like. Let's not forget the lucky dice lanyard!
REMARKS: "The Momentum Particle Beam, or MPB for short. Utilizes technology shared with us from the visitors of the July 1947 Rosewell incident.

You see, Mac Brazel didn't give everything he found on his ranch to Roswell sheriff, George Wilcox. The metal Mac found had unusual properties, including the ability to revert to its original shape when bent, and was very strong.

He took one of his shop impact wrenches a glass soap dispenser and converted the thing into the MPB you see here being held by his grandson Aidan. By the looks of the picture it is fully operational and would have the ability for a full Particle momentum Beam to be dispersed."

REMARKS: "Based upon Studies of electric arcs and Nikola Tesla's attempts at developing directed-energy weapons. The lost sketches from Tesla's personal library have surfaced.

Fueled bey a glowing green liquid of questionable origin the strange liquid when activated enables the weapon to fully light and direct a fatal blow at its intended target. Nikola would be proud! Control buttons and lights allow the user of this deadly weapon the ability to monitor all aspects of energy. Note typical user in full battle mode firing at an unsuspecting foe."

STORY: "On the countless planets that were once organized as a coherent universe, there exists a wide variety of technologies left from the past and borrowed from the future. On Agworld, in particular, the population has long forgotten what it's like to receive supplies of any nature from the Federation Planets. They have developed a culture that is very basic, and close to the fertile and prolific land.

Occasionally an industrial artifact is unearthed, and there is a small class of science-minded tinkerers willing to devote the time away from the sacred fieldwork to focus on what might be the next wave of technological development.

This particular weapon was last used in a battle between bickering burlap weavers, and is now available for viewing in the Social Science Museum of Serious Outcomes. It is in excellent condition, as it was only fired once- such is the power and accuracy of the Tater Rays."

MATERIALS: From brass and stainless found objects and some copper plumbing.
REMARKS: "This is actually a single-action raygun, the wood and brass lever on the left hand side has to be moved into a forward position before the trigger can be pulled. I started this living in LA and finished after I moved to Baltimore last year. I call it the Whitneyville Bolt-Thrower, in homage to the Whintneyville Colts, some of the first single action revolvers."

REMARKS: The raygun set was made for Loretta's fiance; Jon as a Anniversary gift (on May 3 2008).
MATERIALS: Made with fimo clay, wire and a silver sharpie. The box is an old cigar box that was lined with an hand made velvet pillow. The inside of the box has a picture of Jon and Loretta posed as super heroes (note use of Ultramans Specium Ray).

MATERIALS: Built from a toy gun handle, a stainless steel thermos, and lots of electrical and plumbing supplies.
REMARKS:
Brady says: "The gun was made about 8 years ago. I originally created it for a Star Wars fan film, "Twilight of the Republic", we were making when I was in Japan. After the film, I modified it into this retro design." (FYI: the unfinished dailies are at: totr.groo.us/totr-index-frameset.htm)

PHOTON BOMBARDMENT PISTOL & IONIC DISRUPTOR BY RON KING

NAME OF RAYGUN: Photon Bombardment Pistol

MATERIALS USED: A broken mitre saw handle, a coat hook, radio parts, a copper bushing, electrical tape, a door jamb, a plastic wire spool, a plastic coffee table leg, a film canister lid, and a door pull. The ray gun is assembled using a combination of "Gorilla Glue", 5-Min. Epoxy, rubber cement and several other bonding agents. The finish is stressed spray paint, painted "sucker style" or right out of the can.

REMARKS: Ron says; "This gun is balanced, so it feels pretty good, and has held together very solid."

NAME OF RAYGUN: Ionic Disruptor
MATERIALS USED: A ton of radio parts and various electronic and hardware "scrap", speaker wire, a paper towel dispenser part, a glue gun handle, stereo knobs (all of which turn), dowels, and for the body a funky-ass juice bottle. The finish is a mixture of enamel spray paint and stain.

Ron adds: "I figured I had to have something cool to go with the latest batch of guns, to really set it off....after all, a 42 year old guy running around his yard with guns has GOTTA have a helmet! Here's my "Captain Video" meets "Buck Rogers" "Intergalactic Space Soldier Helmet"...."

MATERIALS USED: The helmet is comprised of an antique football helmet (took me forever to dig that up! Man, sports collectors are even bigger nuts than nerd collectors! But, I finally found one in an old junk shop..), plasma cut lightening bolts, washers, bolts and nuts, and a set of custom altered goggles that I'd been saving for such an occasion.....paint job is "astroid bombarded" chrome spray enamel.
